All Tricks, No Treats

Happy Friday everyone! I am here today to share with you a Mama Elephant Halloween Card. Now, I really wanted to practice and try out more of my copic coloring techniques that I learned from taking the online card class that I previously posted. I also wanted to add, that class has been a Godsend!!! I feel so much more comfortable using my tools and much wiser at what I am doing. I am so grateful for the wonderful teachers and inspiration from all my fellow classmates.

Ok enough of the class and on to the card. I am participating in the Mama Elephant Challenge this month. Which I must say its completely new to me, I wasnt aware there was such a challenge. I just accidentally found it while browsing through their blog. Also they are celebrating their 2 year anniversary, so a big congratulations going out to Mama Elephant!!

My main focus was on the background. I've been wanting to use my distress inks and this is what I came up with. I die cut the clouds and hills and used them as a guide to brush on the distress ink on to white card stock.

I posted this image on instagram showing off my newest copic coloring techniques...hehe not really showing off just real happy I know what I am doing now.

And here is upclose shot. Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope I inspired you to do some coloring and crafting! Have a wonderful weekend!!

Copic Markers Online Class

Hello everyone, today I am not posting my regular card posts. Instead I am participating in the

Yesterday was my first day, it was very exciting and so much fun. We started off with the Bending Basics. Using the two-coloring and three-coloring techniques. The videos are very easy to follow and the ladies do such a great job at teaching. There is still plenty of time to join up and be apart of this wonderful opportunity.

I won't be posting any cards this week (I'm sorry) but I will be sharing my process along the way.

This was the first day. I have it all set up on my desk, no one will be going near this area for the next 2 weeks....well I am hoping!!

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!

I Love Fall

Hello again, thanks for stopping by today. Technically it is now Thursday seeing I am posting after mid-night, its seems staying up late recently has been a regular thing for me. I will make this a quick post because I can hear my bed calling from across the ways.

The weather here has been the best sleeping weather ever! My favorite type and with the smell of fall in the air, I have to admit it is my favorite season. With that being said I was inspired to work on another Lawnscaping Challenge.

This picture is my Instagram image and the reason why I posted this one because you can see there is a slight color change to the embossed woodgrain background. I used ink on the embossing folder and I just loved how it turned out. I hope you get inspired to try out this technique, thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!
